Motorola’s E series phones are popular for its combination of decent specs and pocket friendly price tag and we have another phone in this series to look forward to: the Motorola Moto E5. Although the company didn’t go official with their plans for this phone yet, we have learned about the Moto E5 from various leaks and rumors. As usual, let’s check out the Motorola Moto E5 South Africa price before getting to the specs. The Motorola Moto E5 is expected to cost about R 2700 when it’s here. Continue reading to find out more about this phone and the Motorola Moto E5 release date South Africa.
Unlike other recently released phones, the Motorola Moto E5 won’t be going near bezel-less which means we get the same 5.0-inch screen like the Motorola Moto E4 showing 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 294ppi of pixel density. However, the combination of metal and aluminum body will definitely make you think it’s a mid-range if not a premium phone. Right after the Motorola Moto E5 release date South Africa, it will be available in three different colors: Blush Gold, Iron Grey and Oxford Blue. The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with oleophobic coating. It won’t be splash proof or IP67 certified for dust and water resistance.
Although there is no visible change megapixel-wise, both the rear and front camera will be improved and users can expect better results in low light compared to the Moto E4. The rear camera will be an 8-megapixel one with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It will be capable of capturing 720p videos at 30fps. The front camera will be a 5-megapixel one with the same f/2.0 aperture and this one will be also accompanied by a LED flash. For those of you who are interested to get the best camera focused phone available in the market, there is the OnePlus 3T and Google Pixel you can check out. However, these are not the latest phones available at the moment and are slightly pricey as well compared to the Motorola Moto E5 South Africa price.
When it comes to smartphones, battery life is always a major concern and can be a major deal breaker. Thankfully, the Motorola Moto E5 will be packing a decent 3000mAh battery which should be good enough to last a day easily if you are not a heavy user. We don’t know much about the processor yet but it will be packing a quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Users will get 32GB built-in storage but it can be expanded up to 128GB using the microSD card slot. Other notable features include: Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC (optional), microUSB 2.0 and fast charging. For those of you who are looking for a phone with good battery life, there is the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Asus Zenfone Max 2016 you can check out. These are not too expensive compared to the Motorola Moto E5 South Africa price.
The Motorola Moto E4 should be here sometimes after April, 2018.
