Asus is not really known for higher price-tags, so we are hoping to see a pocket-friendly price for their upcoming fitness-focused wearable device. The price of the wearable have not been announced yet, but we are hoping that the Asus VivoWatch South Africa price will be around 700 to R 3200 or SAR (~ 1600 EGP). The price will be slightly higher than the guessed price here right after its release, which will go down after the first week.
After releasing the ZenWatch, Asus is back with a fitness focused smartwatch titled as the Asus VivoWatch. This new wearable from Asus will make its appearance on the Milan Design Week and will be competing with the likes of Fitbit Surge and Pebble Time which you can also check out here. Continue reading to know more about the Asus VivoWatch release date South Africa, specs and more.
Just like most of the fitness smartwatches, the Asus VivoWatch is IP67 certified. It means you don’t have to worry about taking your wearable device with you when going for a shower or taking it with you in the pool. Except the band of the wearable, the watch looks quite similar to the Asus ZenWatch in a good way. The stainless steel frame looks really nice and is quite attractive to look at compared to all the other fitness-focused watches available at the moment like Garmin Vivosmart or Huawei Talkband B1. If you are looking for a sleek and attractive looking fitness device, you can think about waiting for the Asus VivoWatch release date South Africa.
This is where the Asus VivoWatch shines. One of the major features of the new Asus wearable is it’s battery life. The watch promises users up to 10 days of battery life which sounds really great compared to other available fitness focused smartwatches. However, there is also the Pebble Time Steel that you can check out. From the images we have seen so far, we are hoping to see a power saving mode as well showing things in black and white with a colored indicator bar at the bottom. The wearable is also capable of receiving notifications like SMS, calls and other stuff by connecting to your phone which makes the Asus VivoWatch a must have fitness companion.
Some of the major fitness features of the smartwatch are: tracking sleep, detecting heart rate, heart rate monitor, GPS and a bunch of health-oriented apps. It will be able to track different workouts as well and also your sleeping patterns. If you are looking for a complete health companion in a wearable, you can think about checking the Asus VivoWatch South Africa price.
The release date of the Asus VivoWatch is still a mystery. However, we are hoping to see the Asus VivoWatch release date South Africa soon in May or June, 2015.
